Family Therapy
Having done my master's program at one of the pioneer schools of Family Systems, confirmed what I always thought true: we are in relation to others. If you are here to work or improve an aspect of your family life, it’s important for all of its members to understand my perspective on families.
I do not have preconceived notions about how families should be. I believe that each system has its own way of functioning based on its members and their history/experience. I will listen to each of you and make sure that you all feel heard and understood. I will not take any sides in a conflict, nor ally with one or the other. It is important to explore conflicts openly, honestly, and thoroughly. Once your goals are established, I will work diligently to support you in achieving them, whatever they may be.
I have experience working with transgenerational trauma, immigration, holocaust survivors, adoption, fertility, unconventional and mixed families. I have helped families support members deal with a new diagnosis, a disruption (divorce/separation), constant moves/instability, economic hardship or other stressors such as death, and other lifecycle events.
