Family Therapy

My training in one of the pioneering programs in Family Systems Therapy reinforced what I have always believed: we exist in relationship with others, and our challenges and strengths are deeply shaped by the systems we are part of. If you are seeking support to address or improve an aspect of your family life, it is important to understand the perspective I bring to working with families.

I do not hold preconceived ideas about how families “should” look or function. Every family system is unique, shaped by its members, histories, cultures, and lived experiences. In our work together, I listen carefully to each person’s voice and strive to ensure that everyone feels heard, respected, and understood. I do not take sides or align with one member over another; instead,

I help families explore conflicts openly, honestly, and thoughtfully, with curiosity rather than blame.

Together, we will clarify your goals and work collaboratively to support meaningful change—whether that involves improving communication, navigating conflict, strengthening relationships, or adapting to transitions.

I have experience supporting families navigating transgenerational trauma, immigration and acculturation stress, Holocaust legacy, adoption, fertility-related challenges, and diverse family structures, including unconventional and blended families. I also work with families facing new medical or mental health diagnoses, separation or divorce, frequent moves or instability, financial stress, grief and loss, and other major life transitions. Additionally, I support families in understanding and embracing neurodiversity across the lifespan.

Family therapy can offer a space to reconnect, make sense of shared experiences, and build healthier, more resilient ways of relating—together.
