You Are Not Alone...
Navigating fertility treatments or dealing with infertility diagnoses can be very isolating and devastating. Sometimes, they can be overloaded with guilt, anger, desperation, and emotional and financial stress.
People tend to ask too many or the wrong questions, offer solutions, a successful story or prescribe you the magical cure: "take a vacation". It can also feel that something is wrong with you or your body, splashing feelings of shame, a loss of identity, when all you ever wanted was to build a family. The news that something is not working as it "should" often generates a disconnection with one's own body, as it is "preventing you to fulfill your dream". Exposure to treatments, (yes, usually it is not just one), can be exhausting and alienating, riding on hormones, going through multiple tests and/or surgeries, and forgetting that those were once your private parts.

At times, the wishes or the people involved might not be aligned, or there are differences on how far you might want to go to make this dream come true. Discussing this issues are key factors in how each person experiences each step of the way. There are some emotions that might be more gender-specific and it might be important to create the means and ways to communicate between the partners, or family if doing this on your own.
I will say that again, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and don't have to be.
I would love to offer the support and safe place to explore your emotions, connections and disconnections, couple/family struggles, and decisions in this estranging journey, and help you navigate this process, as an individual, couple or family.
